An Introduction

- Buddha

The truth is what we make it, it liberates us, and it sets us free. It can also damage and destroy, dismantle, and place guilt where it needs to be at. Most people have the tendency to look at the world and wonder at times what is exactly the truth at the core of anything. Whether it be a interpersonal relationship on the rocks because of "he say, she say" , or looking at a media outlet and the version of events they share on the news. It is important to know that the truth is sheerly an extension of our perception and what we perceive can either be correct or incorrect.

Humans are a species that are unique because we use language to construct the world around us. Everything has a descriptor or a word. Even when we invent things and make something new, we create a word for it almost immediately as the idea is brought to fruition. It is the magic of our minds. However, when we look at the truth in respect to language we wonder if people are as willing to embrace the truth of anything. As it said, often times ignorance is bliss and truth can spell despair.

Despair how?

Because we confront the things that we often do not want to see or hear and confirming it by use of taste, touch, or smell can even be more unfathomable.

Now to the meat of this:

Why am I writing this blog?

I am writing this blog to talk about some of the truths in the modern world and some of the perceptions that go along with it. They can be about numerous topics including but not limited to:

- Sexuality
- Ethnicity
- Gender
- Societal Standards
- Language
- History
- Socio-economics
- Socio-politics

Also some of my poetry that I write and quotes from others will be included in here to help support some of the things that I am writing too!

In conclusion, I hope that you all enjoy the journey as this will be a bit interesting.
